Too be fair.............? Canada didn't even exist at that time. Trump is an idiot, plain and simple
Is ?religion out of view? in the US?
Some people think Heaven is a place people go to after they die IF they profess a specific belief in something. Others, the ones who are more enlightened by my reckoning, consider heaven to be what you are beneath your 'baggage'. Get rid of that baggage and what remains is bliss consciousness or 'heaven'. FYI: "NIRVANA" means "without flame". That means without the 'flame' of desire or sense of lack. That's Buddhist heaven.
Apparently, Spanky CAN'T do his job:
That?s what the good old boys said to the uppity darkies when they want to sit at the counter.
So once again back to the make a claim then cry when asked for some evidence...game.
What does Zeus have to do with God? He is the God of lightning, not creation. And the God of creation didn't create himself.
It doesn't really matter to me. I'm convinced that between when the books of the Bible were written and now, contexts have been screwed up and words have been misinterpreted, a variety of people could have let their biases interfere with accurate interpretations, etc. It pretty much makes the Bible useless to me as a source for information about the periods in which its contents were written. But although Tynedale may indeed have used integrity when he produced his version, that doesn't mean his predecessors did.
For fvcks sake! Read the article she was the victim.
And the dangerous mind pollution of religion
Get it through your head, as I am not the claimant, I have nothing to disprove. Once again, spare us your dishonesty.
Of course. My mind doesn't think like that.
Poor child has freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and you should leave them alone.
As an agnostic Humanist my answer to question #1 is: yes, it is hypocritical! Genuine critical thinking & investigation is always harder than simply believing whatever you want, and believers have no monopoly on intellectual laziness. That being said, "trust" for a non-believer is not the same act of blind faith it is for many believers. The claims of archaeologists are not infallible and remain open to skeptical inquiry.
It is a religion that changes and has changed, like every other.
What year is that from? Oh, a long time ago? In a different country, even. Why do you insist on living in the past, in a foreign country?
Absurd question. If you have something to say, just say it instead of playing games and hiding behind a question.
I note that you still ignore my questions.
And you think that if "the Lord is with X," then that means that whatever X tries, X will automatically accomplish? What a strange notion.
You attack what you fear most.
I agree. If it were any working Joe, they'd bust in and cuff him. As it is, we didn't even get a perp walk.
I also think it's funny that the 1966 statement included, "There are no hypotheses, alternative to the principle of evolution with its "tree of life," that any competent biologist of today takes seriously."
As far as the impact on culture, society, etc., it depends on how much influence is granted to Muslims. If they're allowed to try outsiders in their religious court systems, there could be some serious issues, especially with a large growth. Europe doesn't exactly follow a strong religious regime anymore, especially when compared to Muslim run nations.
I see you were hoping for something
You coming too? Otherwise, booooooo
Lightfoot, you're in a good place in life at this moment. I believe you are sincere in saying you "need some measurable, non-ambiguous proof." And if you are, take 5 minutes and ask Jesus Himself to show you the proof you need. He is doing it daily for the Muslims, by coming to them Himself and proving who He is. He'll do the same for you too.
Bill, give it up, he wants to be fooled...over and over and over...
